Fastline Publications, Inc., a leading multi-media company since 1978, seeks a qualified Proofreader to join our growing “World Class” team.

Responsibilities include assisting with the coordination of advertising print materials, proofreading and layout through all phases of production to the final printed product. You will work with a team of desktop publishers, customer service representatives, sales representatives, printers and customers to produce a high quality product. We seek a flexible team player for a work environment driven by deadlines.

This position requires an Associate’s Degree; or six months to one year of proofreading experience and one year of customer service experience. Good data entry skills as well as a working knowledge of MS Word and MS excel are also required.

DIRECTOR of INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

This Senior Management position will direct the organization towards its primary technological objectives and will propose and develop new market applications. 

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 7-10 years of progressive IT experience.  Must have proven project and people management skills including the leadership talent needed to create and implement strategic plans.

You will need a broad range of skills, from technical, to extensive knowledge of the web and mobile platform development and creativity, leadership and communication skills, plus a background in business management.  Experience in the publishing industry helpful, but not required.  The IT director must review and evaluate and implement in a timely manner new technologies as they emerge and recommend any desirable hardware and software upgrades for the business, manage computer resources, ensuring that computers are available and secure for use.  The director also oversees any technical support or help desk divisions that maintain and troubleshoot problems
